Care That Meets You Where You Are — Clear, Supportive Guidance for Every Visit

Learn more about how care at Amanecia Health works and what to expect along the way. We’ve answered a few common questions and outlined key logistics so you can focus on what matters most—your health and peace of mind.

New Concern vs. Follow-Up

A visit includes the clinical time spent evaluating your concern and creating or adjusting a treatment plan. To keep care safe, thorough, and personalized, we schedule visits based on what you need help with.

Follow-up (covered under your recent visit): If you’re messaging us about the same concern we evaluated during your visit, we’ll typically address related questions and updates for up to 5 calendar days after that visit.

New visit: If it’s a new concern—or if it’s the same concern but more than 5 calendar days have passed—we’ll schedule a new visit so we can reassess thoughtfully and document appropriately.

Why this matters: Symptoms and health needs can change quickly. A fresh evaluation helps us give you the right guidance and maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records.

Prescription Refills and Follow-Ups

For many medications, we can prescribe up to a 90-day supply when clinically appropriate. After that, a follow-up visit is required before renewing so we can confirm the medication is still safe, effective, and properly dosed for you.

GLP-1 Medication Follow-Ups

Because GLP-1 medications often require dose adjustments and close side-effect monitoring, we generally require monthly check-ins while you are actively titrating or managing treatment.

If you prefer to order 2–3 months at a time, we can discuss that option when appropriate. Please note: if you need a dose change or aren’t tolerating the medication well, an earlier follow-up may be needed and medication adjustments could happen sooner than expected.

A Few Helpful Logistics

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the time to another patient. In some cases, late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

Need a copy of your records? We’re happy to help. Depending on the request, there may be an administrative fee and processing time.

For lengthy forms (FMLA, disability, school, and similar requests), we’ll confirm any applicable fees and timelines up front before we begin.
